I think I'll Just pass on this one.......

Agree with Fluff about the animal mutilations.........isn't this illegal?

Second I don't think rape should be viewed as entertainment.....in any way........ever. I love horror.....but you have to draw the line somewhere. Don't want to emulate the monsters I'm watching!

IMO anyway:rolleyes:

i agree with the whole rape issue.

nowadays the animals cruelty would be illegal, but this was made 1979/80 back in the heyday of gore when people were trying to outdo everyone and comes off as a successor to the mondo genre.

Yeah, I got to agree with the ladies on this one. Rape isn't cool or entertaining by any means. When I was watching this movie, there were several different parts that actually made my stomach churn. And that's saying alot considering how much gory horror I take in on any given week.

I guess I could have guessed that you guys would agree on that. The guys on this forum mostly always impress me with their opinions........well not all.........nazis for ex. ;) Horror freaks but decent people what a paradox......who would have known!LOL!

I don't have a problem though if someone checks this movie out though, could see why it would make you curious.

Well, there seems to be a couple of things on the threads like this right now, like the beheading one.

To be honest I am curious in an accident but kind of way......but I would be very, very sorry if I did see such a horrific real occurrance! It is very sick to post that thread like an adverisement for sick people to get off on. Ashamed that I even have slight curiousity, but strike it up to being human.

This however, is only fiction I hope....

Anyway I won't be seeing that one. That would show me the true meaning of being haunted........ forever. Poor guy!:(

To be honest this thread was to ask if anyone has seen the movie, and wondered if it was any good. Not the issue whether it was right or wrong, therefore has anyone even seen this movie?

I replied right away and said I did see it. That was actually what sparked this whole conversation. Go back to the first page and check it out.

As far as it being good or not... Well, that's a matter of personal taste. In my opinion, it is what it is. A hardcore fucking cannibal movie.

Am I glad I watched it? ....I guess so. It is a cult classic.
Would I watch it again? No. Once is plenty.

i've seen this one.. and zombie holocaust.. i've seen a few other cannibal movies.. this one is right up there... i have a stomach for horror though so this didn't really bother me...

oh and about the animals.. they showed real dead animals in texas chainsaw massacre... i'm not sure if they killed them or not.. but in the alternate opening, they had a dead dog.. in the real opening they had a dead armadillo... it's almost the same to me... people kill animals to eat all the time... that's why it's a good horror film.. makes you think twice about the food you eat

real life horror :)
