Laurie is the female lead, and Loomis is basically the male lead, Myers the villain. Remember their characters recur throughout the series. Spaulding, Otis and Baby are the 3 leads of the second film. I can include him for House of 1000 Corpses alone, though. Quote:

I agree about Captain Spaulding, he is a supporting character in Ho1000C but a co-lead in DR Granny Boone I supposed could be called a co-lead antagonist I don't go for female and male leads, they are either the lead or a co-lead, Luke is neither. The Stranger isn't even the main antagonist, that would be the head vampire, so yes Oh, I changed my mind about Dr. Markoway, Elenore is the lead, Markoway is a supporting character |

I gotta agree with V. Loomis is definitely the male lead. Now the sheriff in the remake, he would be a side character.

No he's the Villain. A totally different thing.
Has anyone said Rod, Glen or Nancy's father from Nightmare on Elm Street?

Now wait a minute, V and I agreed on the fact that Spaulding, Otis, and Baby were the leads in The Devil's Rejects, yet they are villains. Now you're trying to say that a villain can't be the lead. Hypocrisy!

Not only were they the villains but the movie was about them. Like in A Clockwork Orange, Alex is the villain but it's also about him. Halloween isn't about Micheal Myers, he's just the villain.

Like hell Halloween isn't about Michael Myers, he's is in every one of them but one. When I watch Halloween I root for Michael, same goes for Jason and Freddy. They are the villains but in many horror fans eyes, they are also the heroes. Therefore, to me, your argument is invalid.
