Mrs Scouse Mac is getting treated tonight.

She will be getting a nice home cooked meal, chocolate trifle for pud and a little Willow Tree figurine (she loves them).

All accompanied by a nice bottle of plonk.

That should leave me in the good books until the end of March or so!;)

Happy Valentines Day everyone! I will be spending the afternoon playing video games with my sweetie, and the evening playing D&D with friends. Not the most romantic day ever but I wouldnt trade it for the world.

So it's official - We're doing Friday the 13th prior to our fancy stake house... That means I'm going to have a nice dress and make-up on to watch teenagers get whacked.

:)

We're going to a hibachi restaurant, then seeing Friday the 13th, then coming back home to drink champagne (got a bottle for each of us) and watch Saw V since we went to see Saw on our first date.

You know I hear the rules are pretty lenient in eastern europe.
Yeah, the 13 year old dad told me that much...

Yesterday m'self and the girl got together with a few friends.

Valentines day, lame as it may be is actually the day I met her...not the day we started seeing each other, or went on our first "date", but the first time we ever pretty much laid eyes on each other and said Hi at college.
Our first "date" was sometime in the next month, I smoothly asked her to by me a coke, and threw in that I'd take her for lunch to repay... then I kind've disappeared for a couple weeks, came back, and we started hanging out a little more at college, I walked her up to the train station and hit her up for her number. Our first "date" was hangin' about in the city, and I took her to a pizzahut that had all you can eat...Romantic like whut, huh? and yeah...

So the whole deal yesterday with V day, was to hang out with friends in the city, mainly for my friend Toms birthday, which unfortunately (for him) falls upon V day, but it was a bit of a revisiting thing for the girl and I...first day we met and all, and we actually went to the same pizza-hut, and the big scenic park we hung out in and talked for hours back in the day...this year on March 11 it'll be our 10th "anniversary", so yeah in a kind of roundabout way we "celebrated" v-day, with cause.

So yesterday at pizzahut, it was pretty funny...us and 2 others bought along big tupperware containers in our bags to smuggle out as much pizza as we could...ha, I got about 3-4 pizzas in my fridge right now.
Afterwards, we hit up a comic shop, went for a drink or two and played a few games of pool, then proceeded to the Botanical Gardens.
We took all our pizza crusts from pizzahut (not like you want to fill up on those huh?) there in a bag, and I got to do a little animal handling which was cool...We fed ducks, Ibis', waterfowl, noisy mynahs, pigeons, and one BIG eel.
Some of the birds there are pretty tame, and actually land on you (pics to come) but yeah, we all hung out in a big pergola and down by a large lake, saw some interesting plants, saw THOUSANDS of sleeping/waking flying fox's, drank port, smoked cigars.
Met a German tourist dude in there as well, hung with him a bit.
Headed home, had cake, more drinks, weed, cigars, and cooked a whole rack of beef rib that I bought for my friends b'day, we were so tired and wasted by the time everyone left we just showered and collapsed.

A good day, a good day indeed.
