Im amazed no-one has mentioned Monty Pythons Life of Brian, probably the funniest film Ive ever seen.
Another good one is Sideways.

i'm not going to check to see if i've repeated anyone - but if i have to recommend comedies based on the ones i like the best, these are some of mine :
- Raising Arizona - After Hours - Monty Python and the Holy Grail - Trading Places - Billy Madison - the jerk - the man with 2 brains - Harvey - napoleon dynamite - jay and silent bob strike back - what's up doc - animal crackers - abbott and costello meet frankenstein - jabberwocky - bottle rocket - mystery men - its a mad mad mad mad world - the blues brothers - animal house - noises off - brain doners - knocked up - kiss kiss bang bang - 1941 - johnny dangerously - the dark backward - dead men dont wear plaid - freddy got fingered - the visitors (both Fr and Eng versions) Last edited by urgeok2; 02-09-2009 at 06:57 AM.
