The often delayed, heavily anticipated new Batman movie, Batman Begins, has finally started shooting in Iceland. It is rumored that Iceland will be the setting of a battle between Batman and one of Ra's Al Ghul's henchmen.

The film will be directed by Christopher Nolan and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman; Katie Holmes as Bruce Wayne's girlfriend; Ken Watanabe as Ra's Al Ghul; Cilian Murphy as the Scarecrow; Michael Caine as Alfred the Butler; And Morgan Freeman and Liam Neeson playing friends to Bruce Wayne.

The movie is due out in July of 2005.
