well, on account of the knee, certain positions will have to be crossed off the chart.

lovely news update :

on Wednesday I got my last injection in the knee..
It was a bit swollen from the 2 TKD classes ... so the Dr said - don't do anything - give the knee a rest for a while.

well, a few hours after the injection the kne starts to feel weird.
by Wed night it had blown up like a freaking balloon and i cant sleep because of the pain .. i also cant bend my knee - at all.

somethings gone wrong - not sure what - i was prescribed anti-inflammitories - but i dont think they're doing anything.

had to take off work yesterday - wont be going in today either .. cant sit for more than a couple of seconds at a time - cant stand.

(the only reason i'm here now is i couldnt sleep - but i cant sit in front of the PC any longer now either ..

what a cluster-fuck.

only up side is i'm getting caught up on a few movies

ICE ICE BABY!

Seriously- until you can find out what's wrong the ice will help swelling go down and alleviate a bit of the pain.

A bad knee and you do something that has an endless number of leg strikes. That will loosen the knee up real good.

I found whats hard on the knee joints was practising kicking without a target, in particular the front kick. never snap the kick onless its into a bag (or person..lol) as it was produce a lot of wear and tear on the joint..

Also the pivioting action on the standing leg when doing a side kick can damage the knee if there is too much friction with the floor...

Heel Hooks can be muder on the knees so be thankful you're just doing TKD :-)

That seems strange to get a reaction like that. Though, if it's not improving at all by staying off of it, and this has never happened before, maybe you should go to the emergency room. Not to freak you out or anything, but you can never be too careful about these things. :o
