Why does Obama seem genuine, cause he walks out and gives people a pound and a hug or the fist like he is from the ghetto.Give me a FUCKING BREAK !!!!!!!!!!!!! Im the peoples President, lol, what a fucking joke these politicians are.
Yes, I know many politicians are liars but that means you have to pick out the liar who you think would still be a good help.

And what you seem to be forgetting is that although politics can be a bit shady and there are always secrets, they're still people and the fact they're running for president means one of two things.

1. They love power and want to exercise it.

2. They want to change a country for the better considering they live in it and feel the effects.

Now for me, when I watch Obama, he seems like he's more 2. than 1. So get off your pessimistic ass and try and make a difference by voting for what seems like finally a good guy for once.

informed people not voting is still exercising political power, although a lot of people would like to say that not voting is wrong, it has always been my opinion that if you dont want your vote going to either of the major candidates, write someone in, or dont go.

It took her a very, very long time, but Hilary has now finally backed Obama and is FINALLY encouraging her followers to do so too (she should have done that significantly sooner).

What is unfortunate about our bipartisan government is that you really don't have much of a choice. If you truly backed Hilary, then your only option is to simply vote with party lines. Mccain is a jingoistic warmonger who, even though he spent years being tortured in a prison camp rolled over on the topic of torture to please his party.

I initially thought that McCain has absolutely no chance in this election. But looking at polls and thinking about the thousands of backwards bigots in America makes me fear that we might actually have another four years of Bush (that's right - Bush - McCain is turning onto Bush's agenda to snag his votes).

Honestly - I try to stay open-minded and try not to criticize people for their opinions. I'm a bleeding heart social liberal who has some serious fiscal conservative leanings. As long as people can back the way they vote (ie Republican), then more power to them.

But to say that you're a Hilary supporter and don't know what to do - you'd be foolish not to vote with party lines. A vote formerly going to Hilary now going to McCain... is counter-intuitive. And to not vote at all - Is equally foolish.

Not trying to criticize you, Pinky - I am just constantly frustrated with Hilary supporters who are not backing Obama. Bipartisanship sucks, I agree, but it's currently the only political system that we have.

food for thought:

funny and insightful. And a really good argument if you happen to not want to vote as a political statement itself.

In my opinion, you vote for McCunt, you're voting a 3rd bush term.

Obama's my pick, and has been since day one. I never thought he'd beat Hillary, but he's proven me and a LOT of other fucking people wrong. All politicians suck pretty much, but I really like Barack, and I think he's definitely going to be the new President.

Thing is, there've already been attempts at assasination, the latest one being caught before the DNC in Denver. It's amazing how they've no issue killing him, but no one's tried to assasinate that fucking prick in office now. It's unbelievable.
