Just watched Feast II: Sloppy Seconds in NYC this weekend.
Part II was definitely trying to channel pure and utter Schlock only. Very little substance and a whole lot of gore, violence, and bodily fluids. I was a bit more disgusted than I was entertained (which was obviously the point), though my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed it (he's a fan of Schlock - apparently I am not). Not to mention, while the story "picks up where we left off," it follows a set of characters (some familiar, most new) whom I honestly did not care for for the most part; they were obviously and purposefully expendable, and, well, I couldn't wait until they... ran their course. If you love a pure schlock-fest, check out Feast II (boyfriend gives it a B+/A-). If you don't, maybe leave this one alone (I give it a B-). Regardless, I look forward for the third installment.
