I believe in alien life. People tend to lump all alien phenomena into one big ball (i.e. the grey aliens that abduct people are landing their ships making crop circles and are responsible for all UFO sightings and every other alien UFO story etc.) I believe there are many forms of life/consciousness in the universe. Some of which are capable of visiting earth for various reasons. There are probably many species visiting earth, some trying to communicate through crop circles, some flying their ships over, some abducting, some mutilating cattle, etc.

Earth's galaxy is relatively young. There are parts of this universe much older and those life forms may have found ways to travel multi-dimensionally or other ways beyond current human comprehension or understanding.

It's only a matter of time before humans are capable of deep space flight and visiting other worlds even on the other side of the universe. It's our nature - it's why we have a rover on Mars right now. We are a curious and inventive species. Look at what humanity has accomplished in just the last 100 years. If you told people 500 years ago what humans know as common knowledge now, they would say you are beyond crazy. Who knows what revelations science will discover in the next 10 years, 100 years, 1000 years. Our species is destined to evolve beyond the limits of third dimensional physics.

We are a young species and I'm sure there are other much older and wiser beings out there. The human EGO is very interesting. The ego is a part of every human consciousness. It keeps our mind grounded with a feeling of understanding and knowledge. It give us a sense of knowing self and the world around us. It's what makes everyone think they know everything (including me). The ego does not like mysteries. If the human ego can't comprehend something, it will most likely say it's not real or explain it away.

Someone said they believed in life in the universe, but not intelligent life. That is a great example of the ego. The ego can comprehend life in the universe, but not intelligent life. Hence their belief system. None of which has anything to do with reality.

It's why paranormal phenomena is difficult to prove. Ghosts, aliens, and all things psychic are ethereal, not physical. Our ego wants psychical proof of things non-physical. The physical proof doesn't exist because it's not physical to begin with. I (my ego) think aliens and UFOs are multidimensional and not a part of our physical 3rd dimensional reality.

People see ghosts and get quick glimpses of the other side all the time, but the ego quickly explains it way. Have you ever heard someone say your name when no one was there? I bet within a split second your mind explained it away. Ever feel like someone was in the room when you knew that wasn't possible. Again, the mind explains it away, and fast too. When the ego can't explain it, it can always just use the easy "it's my imagination" explanation.

I do believe in hoaxes in the crop circle phenomena (and many other psychic phenomena). But I also believe their is an intelligent consciousness behind some of them. It may not be an alien from other planet (I obviously believe in those too), but perhaps from another dimension. The source may be so "alien" in it's thinking that it/they are trying to find a common ground or way to communicate. We just don't know what they are saying. Imagine only speaking English and being dropped in the middle of China. How would you communicate since speaking would be useless. You might draw a picture.

Another schools of thought is that crop circles are a form of sacred geometry. That by viewing the a sacred geometry symbol of a crop circle, it brings ancient information stored within the subconscious mind into ones awareness.

Another theory is that the layers that separate the dimensions are thinner near the area around Stone Henge (where crop circles manifest most), making it easier for multi-dimensional life to cross over and influence our reality i.e. it's easier to create them there. Halloween is also supposed to be when the layers between the dimensions is thinnest, making it easier for spirit to cross over into our reality.

I think humans of the past had an understanding of crop circles) and that understanding will manifest again. The UFO phenomena has already conditioned us for contact, If tomorrow the skies filled with ships from beyond, we would be far less panicked that if it happened 100 years ago. (Our governments would still try to blow them up through so I don't think they will try that yet.) We at least have a common language for the phenomena - we didn't have that 100 years ago.

OK - I'm going to stop for now. Just my .02

Thanks - I really need to start writing a book. The paranormal is a specialty of mine. Lots of stories and experiences to share.

Actually, this thread (and a few others) make me wonder. Part of the fright in horror for me is believing in spirits/demons etc. If a person doesn't believe (even just a little) in ghosts or monsters or aliens or whatever, then how could horror be scary (other than the "cat jumping out of the closet" scares)?

I'll sleep on that, formulate some questions to post and see if I can get a little understanding in the morning.
