Yea, Mel got away with alot with Braveheart...and with Passion. Being a big-time hollywood director/actor I am sure helped him getting the R ratings. That being said...Mel has said (about both those films) he would have liked to show even more blood and guts, to better show how war/torture really was in those particular eras. Whew! Glad someone somewhere talked Mel out of showing us what he really wanted us to see.

Yea...I can agree with this one. Not a bad movie....but not the classic so many people claim it to be (at least not for me).
