1. If it's your home team.
2. You don't have a home team and have picked and supported a team.
3. You've liked a team for a long while and haven't just jumped on a bandwagon.


If those 3 things apply, imo it's perfectly fine to say ''we''. If it weren't for fans buying tickets and watching games there wouldn't be an NFL. If it weren't for fans buying jerseys and other types of memorabillia, that particular team would cease to exsist. You mentioned cheerleaders and refs, they're no more apart of the game than fans.

I am a Cowboys fan and, as such, could give a shit for either Pitt or Seattle - BUT - even I noticed that EVERY close call went pittsburgh's way and some of them were downright criminal... that said, Pitt did what they had to do so no disrespect to teh Stillers - but, damn you've got to feel sorry for the Hawks
