I'd like to see any of Poe's works turned into a new movie- any that haven't been made, at least.

Did some research...Supposedly, after seeing My Foolish Heart [Based on one of his Uncle Wiggly storys], Salinger refused to sell the rights to anymore of his works. It's reported that this has also been included in his will, so we'll need to wait until around 2046, when the copyright runs out.

oddly enough, 2046 is also the year that Hong Kong's government goes back to Chinese control

Hands Down

Brian Keene:
The Rising
and
City of The Dead (sequel) (although people would definitly compare city of the dead to LAND of the dead)

Revelation.

Have you guys ever thought what a horror show it would be to do a four hour movie on the book of revelations? If any of you have ever read it, it can scare the crap right out of you. With todays effects,CGI, and all of that, it would be a blood bath. And from what I understand, if you belive this way, it will be.

Can we include comic books?
If so, a film, or series adaptation to the classic "watchmen" would be fucking brilliant...but they couldn't leave anything out...the storyline was a work of art, and if they fucked it up...whoah...they just couldn't. So yeah, if they did it RIGHT, that would be cool.

Also, the Artemis Fowl books would make for an interesting film series...perhaps somehow amalgamated into 2 films.

One thing that I think would out-do ANY fantasy series would be the various DragonLance series. I've only read a few, but for what they are, they're some of the best. This one would really have to be done with great attention to detail as well...

Oh, and "Dread Dominion" would've made a far better Judge Dredd movie. I doubt anyone here's read it though.

 HELL YES! Welcome to my cool book...not that it's important, but still...:D I would love to see the first three on film or in an anime type cartoon style.

But I ask you (and Creeper too), who out there, could do the voice or play the part of Raistlin Majere (who may or may not have been a favorite character to of yours, but Creeper and I just love 'im)?

Definitely better than those LOTR (I realize that's blasphemous, but blasphemy is my middle name) movies.

Holy shit, let's make a rule that Orlando Bloom is not alowd to star or even make a cameo in these.

Oh yeah, Sabersword, the book I suggested, Good Omens, is based on the Revelation/s. Only, it's really really funny. I've read Revelation/s several times... I thought it was kind of far fetched and silly, but I'm really cynical.:)

I'm not good on voice guessing, because a lot of the time, someone you'd never think about is casted to voice, and casted well. If they were to make a live production of it...Rasitlin...I can't think of any big-timers that would really suit the role, BUT, one guy I'd seen in a show came to mind.
Now, I haven't read MUCH dragonlance, but in the series I was reading, Raistlin was somehow sick and weakened throughout the thing, so bearing that in mind, I thought of this one guy...did you ever watch "24" series 1? I dunno the characters name, but towards the beggining when Kim and her friend are kidnapped by the two guys in the van?
The one guy that's kinda reluctant about it all, and ends up helping the girl escape. He looks kinda dark and a lil' miserable...I can see him working in the role. The actors name is Daniel Bess.

The pics on that site don't really show the qualities I'm talking about, but when he looked all junked up in 24, he looked as though he'd suit the part just fine.
