my cat..(well..hes not really mine ..he kinda came with the house ..bastard wont go away)

At nights he sits by the glass front door,,and if we ignore him he stands on back hind paws ..n scratches the shit out of the door with his front paws...if we still ignore him..he will then jump to try n reach the door handle. We ignore him for our own amusement..
He is also a great watchcat..!!he attacks any stray dogs that wander onto our property...he just sits back ..pretending to be busy or what ever ..n when the intruder happily strolls past..this fucking cat jumps up and takes swipes at the poor beast.
The phone rings he will jump on top of it n paw knock the earpiece off the hook..Who ever the original owner was..they trained him well...very obedient cat.

When I was a kid, I had a german shepard/malamute named Sugar when cause her fur was quite white with some black markings. Nothing too odd about her, although she literally hated UPS trucks. Just looking at em did nothing, but when one fired up, she'd growl and wanna run after it. :D That, and uniformed people like UPS, mail delievery, meter readers.... she always sensed that somehow they were stangers. Not that she'd bite em, but she'd growl at em something fierce. :)

My dalmation Brandy, however.... that's a different story. ;) That dog would almost behave like a bratty little girl. :D And smart, too. Even at 5 weeks old, I slowly started to close the porch door, and she stared up and down, and three seconds later, she batted the door back open. She also got into things like eating a hibiscus plant (surprised it didn't kill her :) ), chewing on door frames, eating those fuzzy things that float around in the summertime. And ripping the newspaper to shreds! One day, I caught her doing it so I snuck up on her and rapped her good with a magazine. It scared her so much she never ripped another one. :D And she almost got into a plate of chocolates. 3 times I told her "no" so the 4th time she snuck around through the dining room, into the living room behind the chair. Eyeing me, watching TV, then the candy. Eyeing me, then the candy, eyeing me, then the candy, inching closer all the time, which I caught out of the corner of my eye so I yelled at her and she ran. She knows better, but still tries to get away with stuff like that. When my dad came over and heard a "plop", he was like "what the hell was that?" and went to the kitchen to investigate. Brandy bolted like greased lighting, and a whole chicken, still in the bag, which was left on the counter, was in the middle of the floor. She also likes sleeping on the furniture, although she knows she's not supposed to. Every time she heard someone, she'd hop off like she was never on it, but you could see the guilt in her eyes and the fur where she slept. She even got into a pizza. An 18 inch large that me and my dad ate which didn't settle well with either of us. We left the porch for less than 2 minutes, and inside that time, that dog literally diminished over 2/3rds of an 18 inch large with extra cheese, saugage and peperoni! She can eat food faster than most dogs 2 to 3 times her size. lol I'm kinda surprised that she's still alive. :)

He has soft tissue damage. So he needs to rest to recoup.
All I can do is keep the kids from hassling him and make him stay inside till his anti-inflammatory medicine is done.(He is going to be hatin life-no killing? no fighting? no cattin? )
The weight loss bothered the vet as much as it did me,but said the weight loss might just be because he(wolfie) doesn't feel good.
He(the vet) also said it would be a good idea to start buying him SENIOR cat food. He'll only be 9 in March!!
My goodness,I can't believe that, that really freaks me out,my cat is OLD,I don't know how to handle that.

My dog's not doing so well. She's already what? 13 and a half which is like almost 95? Her hearing isn't so great and she's getting hip dysplasia pretty bad in her right leg.

It's just a little shocking to realize my lil domestic tiger is going to gradually get old and leave me one day.
He acts like such a kitten and I get so much enjoyment with him,he's a great companion during my days alone (waiting for my own kittens to come home-lol)...he's my lil furry buddy:D
But that's good info Marroe-140? I have heard some cats live to 22 years or more:)
BTW-Your new cat looks so much like wolfie it's spooky.
I've got a story about his nemesis....the golden retreiver that occasionally breaks out of his yard.
This battle goes far,far beyond cat/dog hatred.
They actually act like they plot ways to annoy each other.
I'll tell it another time though..

I'm so sorry gorefreak,I can empathize with you and wish your doggie the best.

I have these two cat friends and they live in the alleyway, I call them my litta furballs, and they come bother me at night when they get hungry. I say, "Do you want your rat food?" because cat food and rat food look about the same.

Cold and rainy this morning! They are shivering their litta booties off I bet.

Time for coffee!
