well thats a tricky question.. cuz you cant generalize all guys into one category... first off, did he give you his number and tell you to call him... second off, what are his motives.. do you think he's interested that way, or really just wants you to call to be friends...
some guys are really oblivious to these signals.. and although they just want to be friends, they can put you in a bad position. i'd say wait til you see him next... and if he's like, hey, u never called.. then u know he was thinking about it. but if he never says anythin... he wasnt that conerned!!

Is it just me, Barb, or has this guy affected you in some seriously profound way? Seems like your whole personality has changed since this fellow appeared.

You seemed a little...harder, darker, more cynical, etc., before, and now you seem like you're positively floating on a cloud.

gental jesus not you too! you know, in like the past week Ive heard that about 6 times now. Its not everyday I can find someone who matches my humor or turns me on so much. I want to be in this persons life reguardless of the type of relationship. Thats kinda why Im "walking on egg shells". I could very easily screw up a friendship you know.

That's why I suggested you call, but not be too enthusiastic--you know, do the "testing the waters mode" thing. Goodness knows how many opportunities in life go by because a person is hesitant to take action.

I'm not recommending crazed, uncontrollable, throw-caution-to-the-wind type action--just some kind of action, to get things rolling, so to speak. A small gesture. Keep the emotions in check as much as possible, shield yourself from being hurt, but do a little something.

The whole thing about it's the guy's job to initiate everything is false and kind of sexist, anyway. Sure, you can call.

My parents used to believe that it wasn't propper for a girl to call a guy. That's the stupidest notion they ever tried to raise me with besides Christianity. (No offense to any Xians. I'm just a small town militant Pagan. I know, militants suck, but my only alternative is stamp collecting)

hahaha yea cause if you spit its a waste of kids!! lol jp.

i think if youre in a relationship it should go both ways ( one is not in control of the other ) so basically dont expect them to do something if you wont do the same to them, and the same goes for, if they will, will you... and you should cause they love you that much to. so saying would he call you if you were away for awhile? if he would then you should too.

and just to add im doing pretty well with that cause im in a very happy relationship, and will be getting married pretty soon too!
