thats why this one was called zombie 2 in some cases

That's what my friend was telling me. also, if you watch the Trailers on the DOTD DVD the one from Italy and I believe Germany (if not all the European ones) call it "Zombi."

Alright I looked in to it and you guys are right. Zombi is the Italian version of Dawn of the Dead (directed by Romero).

Zombi 2 is the Italian sequel which was directed by Fulci.

Zombie is the American release of Zombi 2 by Fulci.


That's all straight from imdb.com so there you have it.
