Well I spoke to my friend the Attorney and gave him a copy of the other Lawyers letter regarding the Women who wanted money out of the Haunted House due to her Son having nightmares, and her not working.

He said that the court would more then likely rule in our favor, (if it went that far) due to it ultimately being the responsibility of the Mother/Parent(s) to determine what was OK for their own child. He knows the other Attorney, (they all know each other) and was going to give him a call about it. He said the other guy knows this would have almost no chance in Court, and was probably just doing what he had been hired to do, hoping we would settle or make an offer out of Court. I just hope we can get this over with ASAP.

lol. and to think, theres much scarier than her out there!!

the thing that gets me though is just the fact shes totally down with sharing her stupidity with everyone. id try and hide it!! especially from judges and shit, i mean to be a judge u need at least 10 years of law practice as an attorney.. and odds are the guy has been in for a while so............??

dummi :D

you are right .. there are far more morons out there 'raising' kids than there are capable person.

and its fucking difficult when you make it a priority and try to do everything right ... imagine the people who dont even put any effort into it.

well, i dont have to imagine .. i see the grown up results every day.

damn. something id love to bring up but its the big A word and i dont feel like having that discussion again LOL

:D im lazy.

neway, when im older im gona do what my parents do and take what i clal, the minimalist approach at parenting. theyve never intruded in on my life (then again, never really HAD to...), and never did the 'no, simply becuz i said so ' deal (well, i guess when i was tiny tiny, but i have friends who get that shit now)

SO. gonna hook em up wit whatever i can, give em advice wheni can but other than that let them go free. let them know they can do whatever they want in life, just be sure to look at it from all angles and realize any possible repercussions.

id rather raise a monkey that will turn evil, than to raise a robot that doesnt know why the fuck they r doing but does it anyway just cuz.. know what im sayin?

true to a point .. there is a hell of a lot of intervention when they are really small ... untill they understand that if a car runs over you .. you wont get back up like wile e coyote.

you wouldnt remember their input at that time because you were too young ..

but i totally agree with when they get older ...
the systems in place (society, school, work, etc) are all set to program your kid into being a well heeled part of a big machine.
individuality is not a prized commodity no mater what you think.

so most people are funnelled into their little channels .. wake up, go to work, come home, eat your meatloaf, watch friends and survivor, go to bed, then repeat....

I am trying to find the balance of making sure my kid understands enough not to kill himself but without hurting his creative side.
its not easy .. especially when they are small.

on the other hand ... Gren is completely off her rocker so i dont know about her folks :)

ohh ME how about you HmmMMMmmMM! i know some of ur disgusting secrets HAHHA!! but i dont hide mine like u hide urs! :D :D lol

anyways i have some friends that seriously, 'daddy is always right.' dont even question him, its disgusting cuz im over there doing homework, their family has no regard for her, not even me, doing our homework, telling her to do this do that. constantly berated, even over a little thing. the yuong boy, 13, yelled at for spilling milk. YELLED AT for havin an accident as most do. and of course they just giggle and shit when daddy goes crazy

anyway, it just boggles my mind that they just take it in like that.

so i will say as weird as i am, i can say that its ALL on me, im not trying to follow anyone, no role models, nobody im trying to impress (piss off maybe... :)). im self made i guess! but im i gues 'good.' when need be i can help out, get along, impress, get shit done, give advice... blah blah blah..
