And my first concert was Filter and White Zombie BIATCH!!!

The lead singer of filter puked like 3 times onstage....good stuff...
Well all music is made to appeal to people or else it wouldnt be music  . Lets just put it that way......you wouldnt want people to listen to your music? Plus when was the last time you saw a new band who sings about love?

No there is a difference.....some people make music for art, NIN for instance....some people make music to sell, Linkin Park for instance:

(for example they signed a copromotion deal with XBOX and gave away signed XBOX's so they could co promote their record with microsoft, bullshit as they are already a multiplatinum artist....they just want to sell more....obviously)

To me as an artist, who puts my LIFE into music, who eats breaths shits music, who lives for nothing more, its a slap in the face when artist who only want to make money are reveared....

Not bashing HIM specifically, as their are SOOOOOOOO many worse then them, but they are boarderline.....and thus, it rubs me the wrong way......

I completely understand. I usually never like bands like that. And i wouldve found out about, and wouldve liked HIM no matter if they were mainstream or not. But there isnt very many bands out there like that. Most of the bands i considered cool usually sell out *cough* Bad Religion *cough* but its really dissapointing when things like this happen. But most of the music i listen to, the artists make very little money anymore.

But just keep your eyes peeled for shows. Also check www.ticketmaster.com every once and a while..
Thanks...yeah, I need to check that site once a week or something...I just checked, and there were a few bands I wouldn't mind seeing, but none I'm a huge fan of...most of the good concerts are in Ohio & Tennessee...I'd have to travel about 3 hours...or longer. :o But right now I'm saving my money to meet Gunnar Hansen anyway...it wont cost anything to actually meet him, but I have to pay for a motel room and gas and things like that.
