This is high-octane weirdness.
WOW! You have got to be the first person I've met online who's even heard of my namesake movie LOL! respect to you Sir! and yeah it's bizzare "Big Abdulaha meat eater" LOL! a classic 50's B homage and as far as I know the first ever horror/sci fi/musical...

Oh yeah, it's weird, all right.

Well, you have excellent taste in films yourself. Other people do know about this movie, you know. Not many of 'em!! But there are a few people out there.

I took this over to a friend's house once back in 1992 or thereabouts. He had a roommate named John. John was making spaghetti in the kitchen. I remember this vividly.

On the TV screen, Abdullah does his song and dance number with the girls in the veils, and then that thug type comes into the boiler room to ask why the building is so warm. Abdullah promptly strangles the thug and throws him in the furnace.

This friend of mine starts freaking out. He can't deal with the musical number followed by someone thrown in the furnace. "JOOOOOOOHHHHHHNNNN....." he starts screeching. "COME IN HERE, THIS MOVIE IS WEEEEEEIRD..." He was a pussy. A cream puff. A nice guy, don't get me wrong, but a wimp all the same concerning strange movies. I have to be honest about this.

I showed this to someone else (who was more in tune with it). We were kind of drunk that evening. "I can imagine what the pitch meeting was like for this movie," he commented. "'We really want to make this--we need three hundred thousand dollars to really do it right. What's it about? Well, we'll have a little singing and dancing, then we'll throw someone in the furnace!'"
