It will become saturated the themes will become clichéd and people will move on soon!

… But until then I still love the stuff coming out of Japan and the Far East!

Yup, I like Japanese horror. I love Takashi Miike's work. His _Audition_ is one of the best horror films I've ever seen.

Japanese horror comics are also great (as are some Korean ones). Junji Ito's work, especially Uzumaki, is better than any English-language horror being published right now.

I like Japanese horror, and a lot of the new stuff coming out of Asia's top! I loved Ringu and Dark water, recently saw Kairo too which was delightful. There are, however a few exceptions to the rule- I'm not entirely certain about Juon (the grudge) though... when I saw the previews I thought it looked absolutely terrifying, but the fact is, I just couldn't find a small child in blue make up frightening... it seemed to be somewhat taking advantage of the fact that absolutely any horror film from Asia will be a hit at the mo, and so it just took elements from all the other sucessful films and remixed them. Just my opinion, though! ^_^

The classics, like Kwaidan, etc. are excellent too! I recently got hold of a copy of Onibaba which I'm looking forward to with great anticipation- asia does ghosts with style! ^_^

LOL nothing wrong with a good Godzilla flick lol but like
Rakechan mention classics like Onibaba and Kwaidan are super high on my list of coarse there way more sutle then the newer stuff but there shot with passion and have excellent storys and are quite creepy in parts!

Other would have to Include Bride with White hair,Encounters of the Spooky kind,Mr Vampire hell even newer ones like Evil Dead Trap and The Cure deserve more attention!
