The Animatrix is more of a bunch of short films, while a couple were great, one or two were only so/so.

Sorry, no Ninja Scroll or Animatrix. I deliberatly left out Animatrix, but Ninja Scroll was an honest mistake.

Snow falling and night falling fast, oh fast
In a field I looked into going past,
And the ground almost covered smooth in snow,
But a few weeds and stubble showing last.

The woods around it have it--it is theirs.
All the animals are smothered in their lairs.
I am too absent-spirited to count;
The loneliness incluces me unawares.

And lonely as it is, that loneliness
Will be more lonely ere it will be less--
A blanker whiteness of benighted snow
With no expression, nothing to express.

They cannot scare me with their empty spaces
Between stars--on stars where no human race is.
I have it in me so much nearer home
To scare myself with my own desert places.

Desert Places--Robert Frost

I say add Ninja Scroll to the wildcard list and start the voting over to make up for the obvious oversight.

Why did you deliberately leave Animatrix off? Is it not an animated film?

And not having Ninja Scroll kinda negates this entire tourney doesn't it? Since my bet is that Ninja Scroll could beat every movie in it. Hmm.... Maybe you can have Ninja Scroll take on the tourney winner or something...

Put simply, there were films that were more deserving of a spot. Now I wish I would have left out another, because it's a real shame that Ninja Scroll was neglected.
