Shit! fucking horrible question for me, and I go and try to do some research, and I got bad material. So I know why I was wrong. but its my fucking luck that I got the wrong information.

you see, I know nothing about the music composed in movies. so I tried looking up horror composers, and i came across information of a cd that was made, where people recomposed( I dunno if thats the right word, its more like a band covering another bands song) the music for the cd, and I thought that they did it themselves, because I was in too much of a hurry to get it done, and didn't check to see if it was right. So I guess I deserve it.

So ya, thats gonna be it for me for a while. So I'm gonna go be pissed off at myself and neverending ( not that its his fault, it just makes me feel better.)

The fourth choice has been made.

Finalist DISEASE has chosen.

And the chosen envelope is opened...

...which reveals a piece of paper saying...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

JUDGE

...

...

...

...

...AUSTIN316426808!!

Door #3 OPENS!

...And Judge Austin walks in, and sits across from Finalist Disease.

Judge Austin's query to Disease - "What does the element of children bring to a horror movie, both as killers and as victims?"

You have till Noon EST tomorrow to think over your answer, and post it in this thread accordingly, Disease. (since you are offline and have specifically requested it, I will grant it to you)

Your answer will be then analyzed and awarded points on a scale of 0-10 by the Judge, who will then proceed to decide if you will incur any sort of punishment OR get any sort of reward for it.

Good luck...think it over carefully, and then reply your answer IN THIS THREAD!

FAILURE TO ANSWER WITHIN THE STIPULATED TIME WILL INCUR JUDGE AUSTIN'S WRATH AND YOU WILL BE RECEIVING A BRUTAL PUNISHMENT FROM HIM!!

RE: "What does the element of children bring to a horror movie, both as killers and as victims?"

Dear Austin,

Children can bring various things to a horror movie. Depending on ones own association with children, for instance if you are a parent or have younger siblings etc.

They are sometimes the victims as in the exorcist, but it is generally more of an asociation with an older victim for the child character rather than them being killed or tortured.

So I'm going to focuss on the fear that chilldren bring to the screen in horror movies. They represent our own fears and weaknesses from the evil chilldren of movies such as Children of the Corn, Village of the damned and Halloween we have seen children not as we would generaly whilst visiting the park. It gives adult viewers something real and unexpected to be fearfull of.

I think shear shock of seeing someone you may feed and cloth and put to bed at night turning on you and ripping out your throat is probably one of the most fearfull aspects of horror.

Good answer, D.

Please do NOT edit it till Judge Austin sees and evaluates it, and sends in his verdict.

Nice effort.
