I got three new albums this week:

The Essential Little Richard – haven’t listened yet, but it’s full of awesome songs we all know.

Oh The Wind and Rain, by Jody Stecher – a good album of traditional ballads. I love his version of Oh the Wind and Rain. It’s the inspiration for an upcoming Split Lip horror comic.

Live at Jake’s, by Sharks Come Cruisin’ – a local Providence band that plays rocked-up versions of sea shanties. Have a hint of Flogging Molly in their sound. I just discovered them and dig them a bunch.
