And sorry Jenna, freak has his eyes on you. But you may come out alive! For me, freak is a kind of Gage/ Damien charcter. He'll have a big story soon. Anyway, to help things move along a bit, I was thinking of doing a time skip. A kind of 1 year later thing, after finishing off all the current storylines. Apart from one. I'll leave one open. It will be a kind of "Season 2" thing. Do you guys think that would work?

I think it would be better to do an episode in the past... give some background to a few characters...

or maybe a holosweet episode like they used to do in Voyager...;)

I did one a while back showing mine and stubborns wedding when rayne and dude killed her. But if you want, here it goes.


Opening credits role. A subtitle "Scarecrow and __V__" appears. Fade to a small house. It's winter and the lights are on. There is snow outside. The camera goes inside a house. A teenage boy is sitting down, watching tele.

__V__: Mum. When's dad getting back?

LilMissScareAll: Soon...soon.

__V__: I want him too see this bit.

LMSA: I don't think he'll be back for this...

__V__'s Gran: Just tell him dear.

LMSA: Be quiet.

__V__: Tell me what?

LMSA: Nothing.

__V__: Tell me what?!

LMSA: Your dad...he wont be coming home...not for a long time.

__V__: He's left us?!

LMSA: Try not to be too upset. It's for the best.

__V__: For the best? FOR THE BEST?! We were struggling with money as it is!

Grandad: It's okay. I'll get a job.

__V__: That's not fair. You're too old for a job. You deserve a rest.

__V__ storms up to his room. Fade to him laying in bed. He's writing an note.

Dear mum, Gran, Grandad.

I love you all. But now that dad's left, I'm a burden. I'm old enough to work. I'm leaving. I'll get a job and find a flat somewhere. Don't wait up for me. I wont come back. You'd only stop me leaving if I did. It's not fair on you all me being here.

__V__

Fade to him putting the note on his pillow and climbing out the window, a small bag on his back. He walks away and looks up at the house, then carries on walking. The screen goes blank, then a scream is heard. LMSA is standing above __V__'s bed, the note in her hand. She starts crying. Flight of Icarus starts playing and there's a short montage of __V__ looking for work, getting a flat, his mum crying and talking to the police, him coming to the house and looking through the window. When it stops, LMSA is standing in a small office.

Adoption Worker: Are you sure you're ready to adopt Miss ScareAll. I read the newspaper when __V__ when missing, and it's only been 6 months.

LMSA: I just need someone to fill the void.

Adoption Worker: We have a young girl. She's 7 years old and-

LMSA: I'd like someone like __V__.

Adoption Worker: Ah. Then maybe you need to meet scarecrow. Scarecrow! Come in here! Somebody wants to meet you!

Fade to __V__, picking up litter in the street. He sees a newspaper. There's a picture of his mum on there and the headline.

Distraught Family make attempt to get back to normal

__V__: What?

Fade to him going towards the house. The door opens and his mum and a boy, who looks similar but slightly younger then him, walk out, laughing.

Scarecrow: Hi! We're just about to have a snowball fight! Wanna join in?

__V__ looks at his mum. Her jaw drops. She runs towards him and hugs him.

LMSA: __V__!!!

Scarecrow: You...you're __V__?

Fade to the inside ofthe house. Everyone is sitting down, around __V__

__V__: So, I really wanted to come back, but they wouldn't let me. I had to sneak out.

Scarecrow: Why did you join a cult?

__V__: Free room. Free food.

Scarecrow: Well...I don't want you to think I'm trying to replace you.

__V__: Not at all. And I'll go if you want me to.

Scarecrow: Why would I want you to go? I finally have a big brother.

LMSA gets up and hugs them both. Gran starts crying. Fade to nightime, __V__'s walking home with a red haired girl.

__V__: So...I was thinking. Since it's our third date...do you want to meet my family?

Spal: Sure.

They both walk in. Scarecrow gets up.

Scarecrow: So, where is she. I feel the need to show baby pictures of -

He stands still, mouth open, looking at Spal.

Spal: Scarecrow? Oh my...I have to go.

She runs out the door.

__V__: What was all of that about?

Scarecrow: I've told you about her. She abandonned me!

__V__: That's your sister?!

Scarecrow runs upstairs. Cut to a shot of __V__ and LMSA eating breakfast.

__V__: He just wont listen to me. I expected it for a while, but 2 weeks.

LMSA: Well...he's been through a lot. Can you blame him?

__V__: I guess not.

Cut to scarecrow at school. He's walking along when a kid about two years younger than him accidentally nudges him.

Scarecrow: WHAT THE FUCK?!

Kid: I'm sorry. I didn't see you.

Scarecrow: Can you see this?!

He punches the kid, who falls backwards into a locker. He lays there, looking up at scarecrow. Some tall, muscular guys come over to scarecrow.

Guy: Wow. I guess you arent as wimpy as we thought. Wanna meet us after school?

Scarecrow: Okay.

Guy: Bus stop near Eastwood street.

Scarecrow: See you there.

Fade to scarecrow sitting at a bus stop. The screen fastforwards to night time, nobody turns up. He gets up and walks down the street to a shop. He looks around, the puts a bottle of coke in his jacket, and walks out. Fade to scarecrow, walking down the street, drinking the coke. He sees the guys.

Scarecrow: Hi...

Guy: Ha! You fell for it. Sorry man, we were just messing with ya. See him. Go and beat him up.

He points to a guy walking along, reading a newspaper.

Guy: Then you can hang out with us.

He looks around, then goes up to the guy. He picks up a stick and whacks him round the head with it. He then starts laying into the guy, when __V__ walks around the corner.

__V__: Scarecrow? SCARECROW!!!

He runs up to him and pushes him off the guy, who runs away.

__V__: What the fuck happened to you?! You were fine a few weeks ago!

Scarecrow: FUCK YOU!!!

He runs off. Fade to the inside of the house. __V__ is talking to LMSA.

LMSA: Why would he do that?

__V__: I don't know. Why wont you believe me?

LMSA: He wouldn't.

__V__ walks out of the house and starts hitting a wall. A short montage of Scarecrow and his friends commiting crimes is shown. Cut to a shot of Scarecrow and the guys outside a house, all dressed in white.

Guy: Go on. You came up with the idea. Do it. Show that black son of a bitch what we think of him.

Scarecrow drinks from a bottle, then soaks a cloth in the drink, sticks it in the bottle then light it. He throws it through an open window. Instantly, a fire breaks out. Some screams are heard. Cut to __V__ walking along a path. He hears the noises and starts running to see what's happened. Scarecrow runs past him. __V__ stops him and looks at him, shocked. Scarecrow spits in __V__'s face and runs off, laughing. __V__ runs to a phone box and dials.

__V__: Fire!

The camera fades to a shot of __V__'s house. There are police cars outside.

Vod: So. Your son has disseapeared. Your other son saw him at the scene. I think that's enough.

LMSA: NO! NO! PLEASE! HE WOULDN'T DO THAT! PLEASE!!!

The police walk out. So does __V__. He sits down and starts to cry. The screen goes black, and the number 1994 appears on the screen. An adult __V__ is talking to his mum.

LMSA: He's being transferred. To a place called readers row. Dr. Zero will be helping him.

__V__: Zero? Zero. Where do I know that name?

The screen cuts to the clip of __V__ picking up litter. The screen rewinds, then plays again, from further back. __V__ looks up at a street sign. It says Readers Row. A little boy comes up to __V__.

Boy: Hi. My names Zero.

__V__: Zero? That's an unusual name.

Zero: We checked. I'm the only one in the state.

__V__: Hi then Zero. I'm __V__.

Zero: Wanna play ball?

__V__: I wish I could. But I have work to do.

Zero: I don't really like playing anyway. I wanna be a psychologist when I'm older. I can help people.

The screen fades back to __V__ and LMSA.

LMSA: I know you don't like him. But I love him. Can you do something for me?

__V__: What?

LMSA: Move to Readers Row. Keep an eye on Scarecrow.

__V__ looks away, then back. He nods, slowly.

__V__: Only for you. Not him.

The screen goes blank. The number 2007 comes up. The screen fades to some woods. There's a small bird watching treehouse where somedoy is sitting. The screen shows that they're holding a picture of __V__ and scarecrow smiling. The hands holding it shake, then tear the picture. Closing credits role.

...reminds me of that interjection of Tuco and Father Ramirez in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Touching.

Opening credits role. Fade to the inside of XtRaVa's house. He and Horrorobsessed are eating breakfast.

XtRaVa: H. I'm gonna be gone for a while. Bloody buisness bleeds me dry.

Horrorobsessed: They owe you big time. You work at least 5 hours overtime a week.

XtRaVa: Yeh. This time I'm going to California to pitch a new building.

Horrorobsessed: You should see if they let you build something around here.

XtRaVa: Could do. Anyway, I'm leaving in an hour.

Horrorobsessed: WHAT?!

XtRaVa: I'm leaving in an hour. I've got my suitcase packed. I'll bring you back something nice. I'll be back in a week.

He kisses her on the cheek then goes upstairs. She sits there, open mouthed for a while. The screen fades to __V__ reading the news paper. The headline "It's not Rayneing Them" is visible.

__V__: Look at this.

Disease gets up from the sofa.

Disease: I still cant believe Ferret kicked me out.

__V__: You put hot sauce in his tea.

Disease: So?

__V__: Your mum may have moved to australia to have you and gore, but he was born in England. Do you know how much tea means to him?

Disease: What'd you wanna show me?

__V__: The newspaper got it wrong again. They said Rayne and her brother scarecrow have still evaded capture.

Disease: Scarecrow isn't her brother. Does he even have a sister?

__V__: He did...and a brother.

Disease: How could they make a mistake like that?

__V__: I dunno. But there's something strange about this...

Disease: What do you mean?

__V__: Once, a few years ago, Scarecrow lead somebody into a trap by making the newspaper make a mistake. Not many people know but I did some research.

Disease: Who do you think he's trying to trap?

__V__: I have no idea. But I bet they're not stupid enough to fall for it.

Fade to the flat above the shop. Hammerfan is serving a customer.

Hammerfan: I don't recognise you.

Crabapple: I haven't been here for a while. Bad memories. But now I'm back to help a friend.

The door to the flat upstairs opens and zero walks out naked.

Zero: I am so tired...I don't know what I'm doing.

Crab: Jesus christ. Zero, cover yourself up.

Zero grabs a tiny pack of big reds and puts it over his "area".

Crab: It may be small but...oh nevermind. Good to meet you hammer. Seeya when you realise what you just did Zero. Bye.

He walks out. Fade to ferretchucker's house. He and __V__ are talking.

__V__: She has a grudge against us both, but I think she'd go after you. When you only have two limbs, you're an easy target.

The doorbell rings. __V__ answers it. He slowly walks into the living room, followed by Crab.

Ferret: What? What the hell are you doing here?

Crab: News got to me about Rayne.

Ferret: What do you care?

Crab: Newb saved my life from a hitman she sent. She tried to kill me twice. I was nearly married to her.

Ferret: But you're not sleeping here. My nephew, Gorephobia, has the only extra room.

Crab: WHAT?!

__V__: Different Gorephobia Crab. This one's too young.

Crab: What was his dad called?

Ferret: His dad. He ran when my sister got pregnant. But his name was also gorephobia.

Crab: WHAT!?

See post 193 for details. I bet you lot forgot about that.

Fade to a shot of the hospital. Freak picks is smiling. He's in the hallway. He's looking at Jenna. She looks at him and waves. He smiles and waves back. Fade back to Ferretchucker's house. Disease and Gore are now there.

Gore: What's this about?

Ferret: I...I don't know how to say this. It's about your dad. He...he had some other children.

disease: What? Who?

Crab: My half brother for one. And my cousin. Who happens to be my half brothers half brother.

Gore: Slow down.

Crab: GorePhobia Sr. had a son called Newb.

Disease: I knew who Newb was. He was at Ferrets wedding.

Crab: Well. He had Newb with my mum. Then he left. Then he came back. Needless to say my mum hated him, but her slut sister got pregnant. He left again.

Gore: Who's this other guy. Your cousin.

Ferret: Dude.

Disease: Dudeguadalupe?

Crab: Then...he had you. Newb was your half brother. And so is Dude.

Gore: I don't believe this.

Ferret: It's true. But there's something else.

Crab: I've managed to find out who Gorephobia is. I tracked him down. He'd changed his name.

The screen fades out to show an old man reading a newspaper in an armchair. He puts it down and sees a smiling Rayne at his window. Ending credits role.







Okay, I'll admit it. This was never the plan. I went back to just remember what Crab had told __V__, then I saw the name Gore. I decided, instead of putting it down to coincidence, to link the stories. Good revalation though. Who do you lot want the dad to be? Person with the highest votes is the dad. Can't be an existing character.
