Both originals are brilliant and both sequels, um... aren't

but Escape from LA sucks less, so...

This is a really tough choice, but the Escapes hold the edge over more total entertainment, only because American Werewolf in Paris could not hold the brightly lit candle of its illustrious predecessor.

John Carpenter's Escape from New York & L.A. are put in to the test, but Snake Plissken eventually guides them to a close and tough 7-4 win over the American Werewolves in London and Paris!!

Round 3 for Part I: Duologies is complete.

Round 3 for Part II: Trilogies begins...

(If you thought this match was tough to decide, you havent seen anything yet);)

PART II: Round 3 Match 1

John Carpenter's thematic Apocalypse trilogy
  • The Thing
  • Prince of Darkness
  • In The Mouth of Madness

vs.

The Die Hard trilogy
  • Die Hard
  • Die Hard 2: Die Harder
  • Die Hard With a Vengeance

Winner needs 7 votes in favor to advance...
