Ugh I hated having to use Arial all the time in web design. I prefer Verdana if I can get away with it. They're both sans serifs anyway, so the readability is the same.

Very interesting movie. The concept is actually really great, and the execution makes you feel realllly icky by the time the movie ends. There were actually a half dozen middle ages, assumedly Christian ladies who walked out before the first sex scene because they didn't like the movie (read cloning is bad, mmmkay?). But in all honesty, Vincenzo Natali is in the upper echalon of Canadian horror writers and directors for me.

The acting is spot on. David Hewlett, from Cube plays a pretty good role, and I have never seen such chemistry in a horror movie than that of Adrian Brody and Sara Polley. They were really, really great together. Adorable, and able to pull of being friends, lovers, and fighting like dogs.

The effects were freaking amazing! Both digital and otherwise. But what do you expect when Greg Nicotero is on your SFX team?

If you need more reasons to go see this there is nudity. So go buy your movie tickets. :P

Triangle

Wow.

First, thanks for the recommendation, V and others who watched this movie. This is a perfect little indie horror movie; it's everything that movies like 1408 and Identity could and SHOULD have been. A great little mind-bender with awesome writing, flawless direction, and amazing acting, especially from Melissa George, our heroine.

What I really liked about this movie is that I initially thought that this was going to be one of those faux-intellectual horror films that are ultimately disappointing and predictable... HOWEVER, even when I THOUGHT I knew what was going on (thanks to too-revealing marketing), this movie still surprised and shocked me. I don't really want to say too much, but suffice to say there were a few moments that actually made my jaw drop. GREAT movie. HIGHLY recommended.

4/5

It's quite a shame this only went straight to DVD because it totally kills the majority of action flicks coming out of the US. I felt like I was back in 1990!
Straight up old school action with no gimmicks or self referential bullshit. This has given me faith that there's still hope for the action genre. Michael Jai White has some really impressive moves and is the first action "star" in awhile I can actually dig I hoping to see more things from him like this. If you're an action fan definitely check this one out.

Theres so good fighter cameos in that too:

Kimbo Slice. Bob Sapp, Mo Smith and Gina Carano..

If you like that you might wanna try the Undisputed series..

Number 3 is suprisingly good. Number one is a bit uninteresting.

Undisputed I - was basically a fictional/names have been changed what if film about Tyson if he wa forced to fight for money in prison.Despite a decent director (Walter Hill) and 2 'name' stars (Ving Rhames and Wesley Snipes) its pretty average..

Undisputed II - Well this was a typical no name straight to video sequal (though I do have a soft spot for Michael Jai White). Basically, boxer sent to prison and is forced to fight - loses - then realises he has to do MMA to win..

Undisputed III - Now I liked this a lot in a trashy way. It's real old skool/80's/Bloodsport/Tournie fight film and get this the bad guy from number 2 is the star. Its like if Kickboxer 2 starred Tong PO and he was real sorry for raping Mylee and killing JCVD's dog and all.

The fight scenes are fun with different styles and over the top gymkata-fu with the odd submission thrown in..Basically, I enjoyed it in a retro kinda way..

I presume you already seen Black Dynamite with Michael Jai White - its fantastic...

I was looking up the Undisputed flicks yesterday. I might give them a hire over the weekend if I can track 'em down. Bit of a shame the first one isn't up to much I was hoping for some classic Walter Hill action.

Black Dynamite was killer!
