Silverbullet
American Werewolf in London
The Holwling

These are the only 3 movies I can think of.I did not like Ginger Snaps or Dog soldiers(let the flames begin).

If Monster Squad and fright Night 2 count then I like those as well.

Zut alors!

How can we be forgetting The Company of Wolves, only mentioned once so far here?

Beautiful film... with a marvellous dreamy atmosphere, enchanting fairy tale-structure, and some cracking wolf transformations to boot!

UK people.....

American Werewolf in London is on the tube again this week. Yey. Finally some good telly compared to 24 hours of fuckin 'reality tv' and shit talent contests.

Gonna watch that then its off to 'The Slaughtered Lamb' for a few pints.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I like Silver Bullet because I saw it when I was a kid. The hero of the movie is a kid and he fends off a werewolf with a bottle rocket!!! As a kid who was a bit of a pyro, I thought it was great. So the reason I like it is mainly for nostalgic purposes.

i guess i was so full of hate for Stephen King at that time that I had a hard time with anything that sprung from his greedy ass.
It was released as an oversized novelette ...
It was like 10$ or 13$ way back in the day - the cost of a real hardcover. It was a comercial money grab. I've not seen a copy of that book since which means it is probably worth a fortune ...
I got rid of mine years ago.

Pity - i could have made a mint off of some sucker.

i guess I'll have to check the movie out again sometime with fresh eyes.
