I watched because ghost films normally scare me shitless because I get so into them and believe in that sorta thing, but the effects and that are so crap it's laughable.. Love Samuel L Jackson though..

Thoughts on the movie Se7en, not really a horror but good right???

The original The Mummy is amazing. Great film to see as an introduction to horror. I'm dumping the remake which my sister bought me in the package if I get it-don't hurt yourselves in the rush to get it off me lol

Where I grew up (also back in the 80's), we could only get 4 or 5 television stations. Every Saturday at noon, one of them played "the afternoon creature feature". All they played were the old Universal Monsters, King Kong & Godzilla. Not a bad way to grow up at all :D

When I was in grade school (in the 60s), there was a show on Saturday afternoons on one of the local stations called "Dr. Shock". He played all the old B-movies. I don't remember the first horror movie I ever saw (I'm too old to remember that far back :D), but I remember my Saturday afternoons with Dr. Shock. And the local movie theater had Saturday afternoon matinees (50 cents) that usually showed horror movies. That's where I saw "Mark of the Devil".
