I agree, he was the one character I liked, and he had to go and get shot.

I just remembered the ultimate sad ending. Pet Sematary. I'm watching it right now and every time little Gage comes on, I remember how sad it will be later on.

Possibly the best thing about The Blair Witch Project was that it didn't have an ending, come to think of it, no horror movie should have have a conclusion, they usually suck balls and sometimes ruin the whole film.

Alley Chick: What?!?
Spike: I mean, honestly, what kind of retard wears heels like that in a dark alley? Take two steps, break your bloody ankle.
Alley Chick: I was just trying to get home.
Spike: Take a cab, you moron. And on the way, if a stranger offers you candy, don’t get in the van! Stupid cow.

the End End. How it will just keep going, it makes his whole life pointless.

LOL. That's why I thought it was such a great ending. The last thing you wanted to happen. The last thing you'd expect to happen.

I haven't been as shocked at the ending of any movie since. LOL

There is no End/End. There's the chronological end of the movie, which is at the beginning of the movie, and there's the end of the movie, which is chronologically in the middle of the story. Are you referring to the one in which he kills Teddy? (calm down, that's not a spoiler, trust me)

Yes, when he kills Teddy. I havent seen it for a while. Isnt that the end of the movie? After Teddy explains the situation.
