@Cheeba - A BABY?!...So, you guys are finally gonna do it...That's huge...I wish you the best of luck.
Yup, we are...well that's the gameplan anyways. The girl is into her studies, and I've got a job with the organisation I want to stay with, so yeah...the plan is gaining momentum. I've even written him/her a few letters. We've chosen River as a name, as it suits both sexes and is symbolic of something kind of cool (no, not about mr overdose, not that I hated him or anything...), serene and life giving kinda thing.

Anyhows, your planned do sounds pretty cool...as I said throw it up on youtube and I'll definitely "be there" hell, broadcast it live and I'll try tune in and say Hey.
But yeah attendance is pretty unlikely.
We'll be spending all our cash around then towards our own trips to Amsterdam (married, all on our lonesome, in secret) and Japan (to conceive), so yeah between that, the work and ongoing studies/eventual baby, a little bit booked.
Though we'll be hitting up the states maybe 5 years later, you guys should still be alive by then right? :D
Best of luck that it all turns out as cool as you wannit.

- B,

Rayne - Wow. Thank you for that insight, and don't EVER apologize for opening up here. Honestly, I am very very sorry for the way that your sister and your mother reacted. Honestly, the way that I feel about weddings is that the only "requirement" is that every little detail mean everything to the Bride and Groom. I'm not a religious person at all, but my friend Liz had an incredibly religious and "traditional" wedding and I thought it was perfect. On the flipside, my friend Jon had a totally casual non-religious wedding with whoopie pies instead of cake, and - guess what - it was perfect too. My friend Liz had a corny DJ that did stupid wedding games. My friend Jon had no DJ at all and instead made playlists on his iPod... And both weddings were gorgeous and absolutely amazing.

What makes a wedding perfect is that the Bridge and Groom are reflected in every little detail. What it comes down to is that it's a day to celebrate THEM and to celebrate THEIR LOVE. You and Dustin have an obvious bond over all things horror. Your children do as well. It's not surprising that you're thinking of a horror-themed wedding and, quite frankly, I think that it's perfect for both of you and has both of you written all over it. :D That's the most important thing. It's about you and Dustin. That's it.

The way that I've always looked at weddings (especially since I'm not religious) is that it's a big party to spend with all of your close friends and family. The way that you frame that party is about you and your partner. And the idea of having wedding guests dressed up in horror costumes - Well, that sounds like an amazing wedding that is all about you two.

Screw the naysayers. I read your ideas for your wedding and, well, it makes perfect sense. It's perfect. You'll be an absolutely gorgeous corpse bride and groom. I really mean that.

In terms of logistics - Are you going to send out a "formal" invitation? Via email, direct mail, etc? And I forget - You're in Georgia, right? Where again?

Also - I've always wanted to know - How did you and Dustin meet? And how long have you two been together now? When's your "anniversary"? [/girly questions] ;)

@WickerFan - Thanks for that, and Dustin = DudeGuadalupe

@Cheeba - That's an amazing life plan that you guys have set for yourselves...So exciting!...And I'm sure that we will have plenty of embarrassing video and pictures of this event posted on the 'net for you guys to laugh at...lol

@Chrono - Yeah, you 'get it'...My mother and sister could never understand...They really don't know me, and what I know about my sister, I really don't like...I have told her that if we weren't related, I wouldn't even know her because I just don't hang out (or get along) with people like her...That's just honesty...She agreed, so it goes both ways...We only see each other on Thanksgiving and Christmas...She causes some ridiculous scene during both occasions every year, and we just endure it until mom says it's over...lol...To my sister, a wedding is all about HER, wasting tons of money, and being the center of attention...That first one that was called off when she was 17, ended with her telling the guy "This wedding is going to happen with or without you!"...I'll never forget that statement, yelled in his front yard when my mother went to pick up my sister because she was fighting with her boyfriend (the only reason I was forced to be there, was in case there was "any trouble" *rolleyes*)...My sister's entire life is about drama, and well, she was wrong, the wedding didn't happen :p

Anywho...As for the questions:

1) Invitations - I haven't considered all of the details, yet...But, I probably will send out some paper invitations (oooo, do they make a faux human skin parchment?...:D)...Most likely something that I will make myself.

2) You must be thinking of Brad being in Georgia...WE are in Northern Kentucky, 10 minutes from Cincinnati, Ohio...The Loveland Castle (think about that, too..."Love Land"...HaHa, omg how CHEESY...:D), is in Loveland, Ohio, about 40-45 minutes from my house.

3) December 28, 2004...6 years.

I'm not even sure where to start...I could just say, "We met on the internet", but there is SO much more to the story...So many catalysts.

I tried to type it all out to post here, but it kinda became a mile long...So, I'm sending you a PM...lol

Hi Neverending :)

That sucks you don't see eye to eye with your sister (she sounds like a bit of a dick) but whatever you and Dustin have always been rad in my book so fuck what anyone else thinks.

Things are kinda tight financially at the moment so I won't be able to make it. Sober Elvis probably isn't much fun and kinda boring anyways :p

Congratulations Rayne & Dustin!

If your mom & sister don't like your style, fuck 'em.

Cincinnati's only an 11 hour drive from where I'm at with the excellent city of Chicago located almost exactly at the midpoint. It would take some planning, saving and finagling with the wife, but I'm not gonna rule out the possibility of making the trip. A horror wedding at a cool old castle with a bunch of folks I've known on this site forever sounds pretty fuckin' sweet to me.
