Werner Herzog's "Nosferatu The Vampyre", staring Klaus Kinski-
![]() Klaus Kinskis' rendition of the Count deserves props as one of the all-time greats. Better than Frank Langella and his Saturday Night Fever blowout any day of the week- ![]() |

The original Nosferatu and Dracula with Lugosi, then the Hammer series with Lee and Cushing.
Fright Night was good too, because it was it's own movie. It didn't rely on a tie in to the classics. I always found the newer re-makes with Cruise and Oldman as trying too hard and off the mark of the feeling trying to be conveyed. I want to be scared, not laugh or think "this guy would have been so much better in this role". |

How about The Blade Series of movies. And Bram Stoker's Dracula.

I really enjoyed John Carpenter's Vampire. It had everything I look for in a vampire movie.
