Whenever a "name" actor or director comes out of the gate boasting about how gory and violent their work-in-progress is, I know that spells trouble. What they should say is "I've decided to give half my stipulated take to the FX crew so that the audience can see more than one shot of a mannequin arm with CGI blood on it".
