I could add a few movies to the not-on-DVD-yet list too.

I just read that Lucas is going to release the Star Wars DVD set. Unfortunately it will be the 1997 version with the ridiculous-looking CGI add-ins. At least he's not adding even more crap to it.

EDIT

Oh yeah, the release date is Sept. 21. I heard it here: http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=16995

I hate the new CGI versions (who doesn't?) why can't Lucas do what Spielberg did with E.T. and release a DVD with old and new. It will mean I'll have to keep by old VHS versions which are already looking a bit worse for wear.

I know petitions are a longshot, but who knows? It's certainly worth a shot. I'd really love to see a digitally remastered version of Curtains someday.

You are welcome. :)

The thing is, the people who own the rights to these movies don't really know of the interest people have in these movies unless they are told. And these companies always appreciate interest in the products as what it boils down to is money for them in the end!

I haven't even seen this movie but it's one that I really wanna see as I've heard good things about it.
