On the other end of the scale of cool robot movies is virus. My god that film sucked. You'd think Jamie Lee Curtis would turn this crap down.

I believe it's a Full Moon film but I could be wrong on that (I might be thinking of Demonic Toys which I am pretty sure is Full Moon.) I know I have the VHS of this one somewhere. It was pretty bad if I remember correctly.

Yeah, although their arms looked useless considering what they were made of. Only the stupid laser eye thing seemed to be a realistic threat.

If there's ever serious remake, they should start out not showing the robots, just speak of them. As the movie progresses show parts of them, but show things that look intimidating. If the robots ever do have to be shown, they should be worth looking at and appear to be a serious threat to people, instead of toasters on RC toy tank treads. However, keep them non-humanoid.

Well, that's my opinion anyway.
