urge... You should sell 2/3rds of your movies. You know there's hundreds you will never watch anyways and you could take the fam on a nice vacation with all the cash you make.

If I don't buy at least ten or more each week I get very DEPRESSED.:(

As long as you're paying your bills & have enough money to eat, I think it's fine to love movies. Hell, I'm obsessed with them. I still average about 100 a year. Wish I had the money to buy more than that. Sometimes it's not even about watching them (although I intend to watch every one I get) They're like thicker, larger baseball cards to me. Love them, love showing them to my friends, especially when I get the rarer ones. Watching them is a great side benefit. I loves me some movies!:)

Same here, I'll buy imports with special packaging, new releases with different features... just something I love to collect.

Im not that bad yet, but I can definatly forsee it in my future.

I signed up for Zip.ca and told myself I'd cut down on buying...not doing too bad, but could do better. Every single penny or giftcard that I got for Christmas went toward DVD...easily over $150 worth over a day or two.

Exactly what I tell my parents when they say I spend too much;)

So I shouldn't be sending you anymore DVDs huh Urge? :D

I'm moving into a new place next week and I have boxes and boxes of VHS and a bunch of DVDs. I was thinking fuck this is getting outta control but then I remember the pics of your collection and feel better about the situation haha.

I've got roomates at this pad so I'm gonna have to have all that shit cramed into my bedroom.

I've got the same problem with buying books. Used bookstores are my favorite. I'll sometimes pick up 20-30 books in a day at one of those places.
