the trailor was good and hopefullt the movie will be more entertaining too.

I am not sure what I think of this film. This is the first time I have heard of it. The idea sounds better than what the trailer looks. I will probably view it though.

It is very light on the gore and heavy on deconstructing horror themes. I found it clever as hell, brilliantly acted and directed by a true craftsman. There are little visual homages to several classic 80s slasher flicks without ever playing anything with a "wink, wink" kind of awareness.

I know this one will divide the forum. Some will surely HATE it. Another sign of a good flick:D



And later on this year we get the opposite end of the slasher spectrum in HATCHET! which is a perfect thematic book-end to BEHIND THE MASK. The directors are good friends and their films should totally be viewed back-to-back.
