not a good move for me ... i hate winter more than anything else ... being around blades all the time would be a constant source of temptation.

My obsession with horror movies started when I was 15-16. I used to buy any good horror movie on VHS tapes those days (Alien, Aliens, Evil Dead, Dawn of the Dead etc.) Gradually it shifted to DVDs and looking at the racks right now, I must say I ve shifted a lot towards horror than any other genre.

I used to love Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson, Jack Nicholson, Gregory Peck, Disney's comedies, touchy romances, Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis, out and out action flicks, space science-fiction etc. but of late all of their movies sit idly in the rack waiting for a spin, while I keep picking the horror movie DVDs and watch em. I go out to purchase new DVDs, and almost usually 75-80% of those turn out to be horror...with an occasional Scorcese or Tarantino thrown in.

For example, I went to the mart last weekend specifically to look for Apocalypse Now...a movie I ve longed to own on DVD...and came back with a handful of horror movies instead...

Even if a particular horror movie sucks...it ends up in my bought list...

Right now many classic or very popular movies are missing in my collection...but if you look for sucky horror movies...you ll inevitably find it there...

I m a fanatic I guess...:(

you live in the UK the sun doesnt even come up out there. The two english dudes i had the pleasure to work with said its the dreariest place in the world weather wise. Pretty sure I live in vancouver and we've had about 7 days of rain since april, and that's a complaint from me.

I was obsessed with Godzilla, King Kong and Creature from the Black Lagoon when I was around 5. I also loved the Disney cartoon "Legend of Sleepy Hollow."

I've always had a huge monster obsession. Even though my favorite movie of all time isn't a monster movie, the good majority of my top 20 are. Especially werewolves.

I like horror toys also, not the expensive ones most of the time, but the cheesy dumb looking ones.

I bought a weird little green Frankenstein wiggly toy yesterday

you shake it and it goes BOOIIIIIINNNG, wobble wobble wobble it's like the truffle shuffle.

Jesus, thats like living in the desert but hating dry heat...

I'm not a fanatic about anything, i dont have the energy or concentration necessary. However, horror is about my favorite genre, followed closely by sci-fi and fantasy. Yep, good ol' well rounded nerd here.
