Amazing how influential Buddy Holly was.

- The Beatles wanted a name that sounded like The Crickets
- John Lennon never wore his glasses on stage until he saw Buddy on tv
- The Rolling Stone's first single was a cover of "Not Fade Away"
- the Hollies are named after him

and it's made all the more impressive by the fact that there were 16 months from the time he had his first hit (That'll be the Day) and his death.

Hard to chose only one, here is my top 5

1-Welcome to the jungle-G 'n' R
2- The prophet song-Queen
3Sonic reducer(Rama lama fa fa)-MC5
4-Love removal machine-The Cult
5-You can't allways get wat you want-Rolling Stones

And the best song from Iron Maiden is Aces High (live version from Live after dead)

Iron Maiden has to be one of the gayest... not greatest bands of all time.

I have no idea how anyone likes them.
