i met Linnea Quigley many years ago at a fango convention ...
She played the gal who stripped and was eaten by 'old men'

she was pretty cool .. she signed a big poster for me ...

looks like she's still steady in the films .. but they're all straight to video horseshit now.

I'd like to check out one of these conventions one day. We don't get shit like that over here. There's a sci-fi one once a year but no horror stuff :(

Show us a pic of the poster dude!

I hated 3 but for some reason most people dont.
Of the periods around significant shifts in current trends and audience demands regarding horror movies, it seems Return of the Living Dead 3 lands squarely in one of them.

It is the most logical explanation of the otherwise baffling unacceptance or misunderstanding of the film in modern horror cinema.

1993 was of course a couple of years before the post-modern revolution, but films like ROTLD3 and TCM4 were already dabbling in self-referential before everything had to be so clever and knowing to the teenyboppers.

i think for me - at the time - it was a steady progression away from the flavour of the 1st film....and i loved the 1st film.
I guess I wanted more of the same.

I just found my VHS copy of #3 .. it's a screener... i'll have to give it another go and try to view it on its own merits ..
