Saw was one of my favourite films of 2004 but this sequel is pathetic.Terrible acting, dumb dialogue, poor soundtrack, ridiculous story, totally unscary and crap direction.
hey look, it's tit guy...thought you left a long time ago.

anyway...how can you say the acting is worse than the first? The acting in Saw was TERRIBLE, cool movie, but yes,TERRIBLE ACTING. Saw 2 has to be one of the best sequals I have ever seen because it's an actual sequal...and personally I thought the acting was great, In Saw it wasn't even convincing.

Oh yeah...that was Donnie?? He looks so much like his brother that's who I thought it was, haha. But yeah, nice come back.

Went to see this last night and was pleasantly suprised. Quite a good film for a sequel. But in my opinion not as good as the first one.

The plot was quite obvious though to be honest. I think you know who's gonna be the main victim as soon as you see the character. You're just anticipating the horrible stuff thats gonna happen to him/her.

Thought the old 'trapped in a house full of gadgets' thing has been done to death but I was quite suprised with how good the 'challenges' were that the victims had to overcome.

The twist at the end was pretty imaginative but there were a few lame aspects to it.

Also, there's a really impressive link to the first one in there. When the shot appeared, all the people who'd obviously seen the first one gasped. That was cool.

Cant really go into much more detail than that without ruining the plot. I would defo recommend you go and see this at the cinema. You wont appreciate it half as much on your tv.

****SPOILER****

Actually they did breathe in the nurve gas. If you are wondering why Amanda and the boy didn't die, it's obvious, they were given the antidote. I don't know but Beverly Mitchell dying on the floor due to the fact that it was in her system and everyone else coughing up blood means that it's there.

I really liked Saw 2 and those saying "I hope they don't screw it up and make a Saw 3" are probably the ones who said "I hope they don't ruin Saw and make a Saw 2". Oh, and bad sequels don't ruin anything anyway. I like Texas Chainsaw Massacre no matter how crappy any of the sequels are. Bah I say!

Well, if it's already confirmed i guess we just gotta hope for the best :-) i was stoked about saw 2, and it exceeded my expectations...

they have to be really careful with the third one, i reckon..the first two were so good, there's a lot of pressure riding on them to do a good job with the third...

i'm super interested to see it, but i hope it's not just a 'more of the same' type thing...i'd like to still see a bit of a progression of storyline...
