So, turns out he can get out of THAT cage too. But whatever, he's on my balcony so he's not going anywhere, right? But he went missing...and we just found him.
He'd actually made a tunnel system underneath a lavender plant we have growing out there in a large pot. The rat was living in the plant.
Weird.
That reminds me of a story one of the DTR guys (kinda like a machanic for photo machines) told me at work. He got a call out to one of the stores in our district because the film processor wasn't mixing chemistry. When he opened the machine up to check the sensors he found that a big ol' rat had made a nest inside of the machine on top of the nozzles. It drug paper, and all sorts of random things inside of the machine to make it...I'm surprised it was alive when he found it.

Wolfgang was our first baby,he was 5 weeks old when my husband brought him home for me as a surprise present(still the best present I ever got to this day)
The next year we had our first daughter and even though we did everything the vet told us to do to acclimate him,he spent 2 months under the bed,I had to push food and water at him.
After that ,he avoided me for about 6 months, but I would find him from time to time in the baby's crib smelling around.
Everytime baby cried,he would start yowling.
The next year,we had another daughter-and it appeared that Wolfie had chosen to become a 'lookafter' for my hairless kittens-lol.
He follows them all around the neighborhood now, keeping an eye on them. It's very strange and very cute.
He stills yowls when the girls cry and he always goes up to them and wraps his tail around them,it's too adorable.
Another thing I find amazing is that when the girls were toddlers-they would sit and lay on him, pull his tail and ears-and he would just sit there.
If they got too rough,he would smack them with noclaws or nip at them and I know-this cat has the ability to tear you apart.

We had a cat who you could dress up in clothes, and she'd just hang out in them, just wear them around as if it were the most natual thing in the world and never fight to take them off. Even little hats! She also went hiking with us, like a dog would.

Soraya is insane! Ever since I walked in the door today, she's been running back at forth, sliding on the hard wood floors, and literally smacking herself into the walls. Every once in a while she'll lunge on my arm like she's hugging it, and then jump up in the air and back into the wall. She jumps up on the back of my sofa and smacks at my picture frames...it seems like she does this just to see what I'll do because she smacks em, then turns to look at me, then does it again. She does the same thing with the 4 foot long, 3 foot wide HUGE dream catcher above my bed, I'm just gonna let that one fall on her head sometime. It's light it won't hurt her, but it'd be damn funny. I also think she has an imaginary friend.

I've been watching Soraya roll around the floor trying to kill a Q-tip she found for about 15 minutes now. Quite entertaining.

My cat, Sneeze, is hilarious. She loves to play with 20oz bottle caps. If you throw one she will fetch it and bring it back to you. She wakes me up every morning by crying outside my bedroom door. I used to feel bad and let her in but that stopped quickly. All she wants to do is knock stuff over! She is trying to get me to get up and play with her. She will sometimes try and push a damn cap under my door at 6:00 in the morning. We buy her all sorts of toys but she will only play with the really ugly ones. Like these catnip toys I bought her. Most of them are like cute mice but one of them... I don't even know what the hell it is supposed to be! She ignores all of them but the ugly one!

As for her eating habits... She is a little shithead! If I am eating chips she will have the audacity to run up and steal my chip and eat it right in front of me. She LOVES potato chips. She also eats french fries, bananas, red peppers, and chedder peppers (Sonic kicks ass!).

Sneeze also loves to hit me. If I am sitting down in the living room she will walk up to me, jump on me, look me in the face, and then she will hit me and casually walk away.

I love my cat but she is weird.

Our neighbors down the hall have a dog that can't bark right. It's like that video of the boxer pup that just kinda makes this weird yowling.

Its really scary, three-thirty in the morning and I get woken up by what sounds like a person with no tongue screaming.

I finally have something to add...:D

I know I've been bitching about my dad lately, but we've finally found solidarity. Tonight me, my mum, my dad, and my paternal grandmother were hanging out watching Wheel of Fortune (hey, you cater to your grandmother).

At about half way through the show our schnauzer, Griffin trots into the living room with something in his mouth. My dad looks at my mum and I and mouth's, "He's got mother's teeth!" So here we are chasing this dog through the dining, living, and foyer, withc my grandmother's teeth hanging out his mouth. My dad and I were useless in catching in him, because we looked at each other and burst out laughing.

So, Griffin, with my grandmother's teeth in toe, goes under the table wear he is caught and the teeth taken from him. My dad scoured them in hot water and tooth paste.

It was one of the funniest things I've experienced in a long time. Maybe I'm just hard up for entertainment.

Wolfgang wakes me up every morning by sitting on my chest and purring loudly.
We then go downstairs where he circles and trips me several times as I prepare his food.
Even after feeding him 2x a day for almost 9 years now,he still acts happy and AMAZED that I give him FOOD.
I guess that explains the overkill on all the dead animals at the door outside.

I'm taking him to the vet shortly,he has been limping for a week now.I hope he hasn't tangled with any more snakes.
