I think we need to have more chaos, more random acts of misfortune and violence to spice things up a little. And it would be really nice if I could do things without consequence, Oh boy would I get some things done around here.

Where to start where to start.......it is truly amazing the things that can be accomplished with a full tank of gas, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a thermos full of fruit punch kool-aid (OH YEAH) and about 1000 rounds of ammo for my trusty AR15.

Could start by voting from the rooftops, that ought to shake things up a bit.

Issues, no I have no issues. The red dot on your forehead is only a figment of your imagination, its not like I have a rifle pointed at you or anything.

Didnt you see PhoneBooth? That screams chaos to me, this guy is killing people for really no good reason, well, he has reasons, but they are his own. I love this idea........so next time you step into a phone booth......

Yes I have some deep seated aggression that needs to be released from time to time on innocent folks.

Deal with it:p

I had just thought of something, how is this for issues?

Which gets more media coverage and interest from the general public? Random acts of kindness? Or Random acts of senseless violence?

The Violence of course, lets look at it this way. Mother Teresa dies no big deal. Princess Diana dies, you would think that the world was coming to an end for some people.

Mother Teresa dedicated her entire life to a cause of helping the downtrodden, Princess Diana dedicated what 2 years of her life to cleaning up landmines in 3rd world countries.

Who got the most recognition and media coverage? I have issues? I think the whole damn world has issues, and have their priorities screwed up big time.

Who are the ones that are really crazy? The guy in a straight jacket in a mental ward banging his head against the wall until he passes out? Or the guy that goes to work 70 plus hours a week to get a measly paycheck so he can keep up with the Jones and buy that second house in the Tuscany and drive a Lexus and have a bigger big screen than his neighbor.

I guess I am rambling but its the issues:D

Don't make me break out the Tao Teh Ching on everybody. Chaos is the ultimate of the universe. "In the beginning the one (Chaos/Sacred Feminine) gave birth to the two, the two gave birth to the three, and the three gave birth to the myriad of things."

Without chaos there wouldn't be anything. Like Gen said, we need duality (if nothing else).

I mean, shit, look at outer space. Gaze into a supernova blasting an entire galaxy all to hell. Theoretical black holes that suck out all light around them. There's some chaos for you. I'd suggest you just start dealing with its presence.

i could do with a little less chaos in my life (still trying to find the balance) but its true that war - as one example of chaos .. was the catalyst for more great works of art/literature/film etc, than anything good thats happened in the world.

And music ... well, i guess we certainly wouldnt have the blues.
or rock and roll, which is mostly churned out of teen angst.

Without chaos there would be stagnation ...

But honestly .. i wouldnt mind if chaos took a vacation for 50 years or so ...
