Adventureland

Whiney virgin takes a bad job. Big fucking deal. Everyone in the film is a loser, which makes for a couple of entertaining moments, but all the pathos in this film comes from the soundtrack.

The lead supposedly just graduated college, but he acts like he just graduated high school. Feels like a rewrite that never got fully adjusted.

There isn't one descent example of manhood in the whole film. Watching this one with my son I found myself repeatedly telling him "don't ever be this guy." Don't be the self-doubting pussy who can't seal the deal. Don't be the married guy who cheats with young girls. Don't be the asshole who punches people in the balls for no reason.

4/10

The World's Greatest Sinner - starring, written and directed by Timothy Carey (the shooter from the killing).

Weird, interesting and fucking oddball movie - I liked it. Carey looked and sounded drunk throughout...The guy is a legend. Tarintion was considering him as Joe in RD at one stage..

Just checked the imdb page for the flick, and it looks stacked!! 200% pure hottie-dom!

Kickass premise too. Should be a blast.

I had high hopes for Mandy Lane when it began, but by the end they had largely soured. Don't hate it, though.
