my vote if for Brownign but, the 66 version of Dracula was a shortened version of the 31 film - Browning died in 62 and was not Directing from the Grave

Hmmm...quality Vs quantity?

Browning directed the greatest horror film ever made, but Raimi 2 films that made the list, as well as some of my favourite action movies.

No contest really, Dracula trumps all.

Tod Browning

GodDAMN, this is hard.

Actually, I refuse to vote. I can't do that to myself.

Oh, fine, I will.

Tod Browning, but only by a hair.

Raimi. What the hell.....I'll sacrifice a little common sense for the guy because I like him....although Browning is awesome.....

Sam Raimi

I have more fun with his stuff and am able to spend more time with it; both horror and non. He's a director who makes both films for fans as well as the masses and also combines the two on occasion. Tod Browning was a pioneer no doubt, but I give Sam the nod.

Browning leads Raimi in a tight one...

5-4

Need more votes....

(And if the 66 Dracula was simply an abridged version of the 33 Darcula, then it was still directed by Browning and simpy re-edited by someone new. Go check out imdb if you want, but he gets the director credit for it.)
