VERY true. Been far, FAR too long since I've seen that one.

And, besides, I don't think it was his, uhm, acting that I was paying attention to. :p

My Bloody Valentine 3D

Not too much to say about this one, Chrono and Noir pretty much nailed how I felt about it. I will say that all the great acting and intricate story lines in the world cannot take the place of fun and this movie was blast.

if it was mine - and only 8 years old ... i'd be taking it out in pieces.

i've been lucky with TVS.

the 1st one i bought (a component style panasonic) finally gave up after almost 25 years. actually it still works - but the colours were flaring up occasionally.

the 32" sony trin. in the basement is about 12 years old - going strong.

Is it a CRT? Those bastards were tanks, all stainless tubes and everything. It might be a cheap fix, you would be surprised really. I have a cousin who owns a shop and they do all the repairs for the ABC Warehouse and Best Buys around here among others.

that's the plan

I was hoping to get more years out of a Sony. Haven't had much luck with RCA's.....I thought Sony would fair better.

not sure if its CRT or not. I've been checking on-line and a lot of people have had the same problem........some talking about $1300 fixes...fuck dat shit.

Good excuse to get a nice 42 HD anyway :D
