The leaner, meaner Michael would have been no match for Jason's brute strength, no doubt. He would have to depend on his surprise attacks a bit more than sheer strength. The honors would be more even between RZ's Myers and Jason for sure.
I wonder if Ronny Yu is reading this right now.

I remember nothing but the ending of the remake of Friday the 13th so I don't know if the new maybe or maybe not improved Jason is smarter/stronger/faster. I'm also not sure what New Freddy is capable of.

Didn't the new Jason run and chase one of his victims in the remake? Threw an axe or something while running behind that victim? Does that mean a faster, more brutal Jason?

Haven't bothered checking out the new NOES so no idea about new Freddy either.

He threw stuff before, but he did look thinner from what I remember, so he's probably much faster now, especially since he runs. According to my friend Freddy is less playful and more brutal, like instead of making dreams to creep the would-be victims out he just shows them gruesome images and then tortures them to death.

If they actually made a Michael vs Jason vs Freddy film, what would you expect from it?

Let's suppose that Ronny Yu has a brainstorm, and it releases in 2012-2013 thereabouts. Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy, Derek Mears as Jason and Tyler Mane as Michael.

Would you go watch it?

I, unlike many, love the Hell out of Tyler Mane's Michael Myers. I consider this Michael an entire different Michael than the one I grew up with. I'd probably be there the midnight of release, I'd have to catch up on the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street remakes to see where the two are when the movie ended, unless they both end with the villain leaping out at the survivors.

I'd expect something extremely bloody to come from Michael vs Jason vs Freddy. While that's not a selling point for any movie to me, I wouldn't bitch about it. I'd hope if a character from any of the previous films has to return it would be Brackett from Halloween, since y'know, it's Brad Dourif. Technically we'd be seeing Chucky vs Michael vs Freddy vs Jason.

I wouldn't expect much story-wise, just the characters being the characters.

Hell the gore content alone would sell the film like hot cakes.

And seeing how decent FvJ panned out, I d go with Ronny Yu again as director. The story - well something on the lines of the same, Freddy getting into the brains of both Michael and Jason and letting them loose on Elm Street. Then a mouth-watering encounter between Michael and Jason, followed by the ultimate showdown between all 3 of them.

Wouldn't matter if I loved it or hated it, I WOULD watch it either way.

The one thing I'd hope for this time around-An actual winner.

oh, that would be fun. I'd love to see that. But that thing is I think they would like to go for Jason vs Michael & Freddy vs Michael first before the ultimate part of the trio. Why they wouldn't use those venture as both of them can generate some profits for them?

Anyway, my favorite is Jason always. I want to see him on the winning side every time. :)

Knowing Freddy, there might never be an actual winner unless and until someone took him out first. Maybe our hero/heroine using a spell to make him visible to both Michael and Freddy, who tear him to bits first before taking on each other (after one of them decapitates the hero/heroine, but of course).

Only way to find a winner.

Of course we all would be cheerleading for Michael.
