Where are you getting your movies? I can get Oldboy for about $12 new. Most of the foreign movies I've bought either at a local movie store or Amazon. If I order enough (which is never a problem for me :D ), I can get free shipping from Amazon. That helps a bit; that's where I got Kairo from. Also, the subtitles on my new copy were not great; the timing seemed off by a few seconds.

I just got Evil Dead 2 online for 4 dollars. I figured it was a crime to have Evil Dead and Army of Darkness without it, although they're both on DVD and the ED2 I just bought is VHS....I ALMOST bought The Monster Squad, but I just can't bring myself to spend 25 bucks on a used VHS yet....I'll probably do it next weekend:rolleyes:

It really sucks how much some movies cost....From Beyond is one of the ones that are harder to find I guess....so is Howard the Duck for some reason. I wonder why they don't make dvd's of some of these movies, they used to be pretty popular....and if they can put freaking BREEDERS on dvd, why not movies actually worth watching???

I was tempted to by Alfred Hitchcock - The Masterpiece Collection for just over 100$. That would have included... (Saboteur / Shadow of a Doubt / Rope / Rear Window / The Trouble with Harry / The Man Who Knew Too Much / Vertigo / Psycho / The Birds / Marnie / Torn Curtain / Topaz / Frenzy / Family Plot)

Buuut, seeing as I haven't seen many of his films, I just grabbed Vertigo. I'm pumped to watch it. :)

An American Haunting &
Sympathy for Mr. vengeance

tonight.
