i dont care about the horror or lack of it..

the performances were horrible...William Hurt was embarrasing..
and Bryce Dallas Howard was god awful too ...

i didnt like the story - i didnt like the little deliberately misleading things that were thrown in that only served the suprise ending (the old style language)

it was like a poorly made twilight zone ripoff that could barely have survived being a 20 minute short.

M. Night was too wrapped up in giving a twist ending - to provide a story that was of any interest.

I agree, I actually think some scenes were set up pretty well, but that just make it all the more disappointing overall.

the village was pretty bad. I found a tiny bit interesting on second watch but only because I had a fever so high I was halucinating.
