Nope.

That very interesting question brings me to reveal...BATTLE ROYALE RULE #2 (which I was going to reveal at Midnight EST) :

If a team loses a member, they gain a handicap advantage.

Which means, according to Battle Royale rules, they get to choose a member of the remaining two groups to sit out the next challenge.

As you can see, even the unfortunate are given delightful lifelines in Battle Royale.

Don't forget my dear HDC-ians, it takes 4 bullets to kill a member. Depending on the number of bullets one member receives, there is still a pretty good chance he survives the penalty and makes it into the next Challenge, albeit in a wounded condition, as stated by my apprentice earlier.
