i know this is terribly cheesy and cliche, but i dig the effect anyway :







playing around with the cannon 'point-and-shoot" i couldnt have gotten this with the Nikon

I haven't been to a zoo in ages it always bums be out/pisses me off.

yeah - it's a love hate thing for me ...

i feel bad for some of the animals (not all - because its a huge zoo and the bigger animals have safer healthier lives where they are)


on the other hand its the only chance to see these creatures.

i think a lot of these animals survive a lot longer in proper captivity ...

no poachers - no starvation .. I guess it depends on the zoo - i know some zoos are cramped nightmars in the middle of cities - the Toronto zoo is out in the country - tons of space
