Hey all, I'm new here and hope to be around for a while. Big fan of horror movies, only a recent interest (few years) so I am so not as expertistic (a word? XD) as most of you. I do think I have a decent sense of what is good and bad though, but sometimes I can be a little off. Anyways, here goes:

1. Dead Alive / Braindead
2. Evil Dead 2
3. High Tension
4. Dead and Breakfast
5. The Skeleton Key
6. A Nightmare on Elm Street
7. SAW / SAW 2
8. Cabin Fever
9. Night of the Living Dead
10. The Amityville Horror

Damn, had a hard time filling that up.

now keep in mind that im only 16, so i really dont watch many movies before 1989, unless im told great things about it.

Ouch man, that list is HURTING. Im younger than you, so age is NO excuse to ignore older movies. For my money, Id rather watch an old black and white guy-in-rubber-suit creature feature than ANYTHING coming out today. Take a look at some of the flicks in my sig, try 'em out....I bet you'd like 'em!

No Offense, But your favorite list would probobly be my least favorite list. and seriously, I just turned 17, and not seeing movies before 1989 isnt an excuse...GO GET EM MAN, your missing all the good films...

i actually just rented The Devils Rejects, didnt get to watch it yet though, do i have to understand House of 1000 Corpses in order to get TDR? cuz if so then im screwed.

but my favorite type of horror films consists of either ghosts, slashers, or stalkers, and thats how i get my favorites. to each his own i guess.
